ABCIXIMAB
MOA:
- MAb to fibrin receptor (gpIIb/IIa)on platelets

USE:
- prevent blood clotting after coronary angioplasty + acute coronary syndrome

OTHERS:
- eptifibatide / tirofiban
ACETAMINOPHEN
- antipyretic analgesic
- v.weak cox inhibitor
- not anti-inflamm
- less GI distress than aspirin
Tox:
- hepatic necrosis
ACETAZOLAMIDE
- CA inhibitor in PCT
- NaHCO3 diuresis
- bicarbonate depletion
Use: glaucoma, mountain sickness

- paresthesias

- requires activation by TK
Tox:
- behavioural effects
- nephrotoxicity
Others (longer half lives):
- famciclovir, penciclovir, valacyclovir
ADENOSINE
MOA: Antiarrhythmic
- hyperpolarises AV nodal tissue, blocks conduction for 10-15s
Use:
- nodal reentry arrhythmias
Tox:
- hypotension
- flushing
- chest pain
