Concentration-dependent killing
A property of some antibiotics, especially aminoglycosides and vancomycin, of achieving a relatively high, even if brief, plasma drug concentration, results in the most effective bacterial kill (see time-dependent killing). (p.595)
Facultative anaerobic metabolism
