Adenosine/Adenocard
6mg RIVP every 1-2 min. followed by a 20cc flush

VF, Pulseless VT 300mg IVP may repeat at 150mg in 5min. give w/D5W

VT W/Pulse 150mg IV over 10 min. repeat as needed. MAX 2.2 g in 24 hours
Aspirin/Acetylsalicylic acid
324 mg po (4baby ASA, 81mg each) Have pt chew and swallow within 5 min of arrival
Atropine
Aystole, PEA 1mg IV/IO every 3-5min. MAX 3mg
Symptomatic Bradycardia 0.5mg IV every 3-5minutes prn to max of 0.04mg/kg (3mg)

Organophosphate poisoning 2-4 mg or higher, repeat prn until S/S cease
Epinephrine/Adrenaline
Asthma, anaphylaxis, severe allergic reaction: (1:1,000) 0.3-0.5 mg SQ/IM may repeat in 5min.

VF/Pulseless VT, PEA, Asystole: (1:10,000) 1mg IVP every 3-5min. NO MAX

Symptomatic Bradycardia: (1:1,000) mix 1mg in 250ml NS adn give 2-10 mcg/min IV Titrate to response
Lidocaine/Xylocaine
VF/Pulseless VT initial dose of 1-1.5mg/kgIV/IO may repeat every 5-10minutes up to 3 doses at 0.5-0.75mg/kg IVP w/MAX of 3mg/kg

Stable MVT/Stable PVT 0.5-0.75mg/kg may repeat every 5-10min up to 3 dpses w/MAX of 3mg/kg

Maintance Infusion 1-4 mg/Min (1g in 250cc NS)
Magnesium Sulfate
Cardiac Arrest/TDP 1-2g diluted in 100ccNS IV/IO given over 5-60min (common practice 5-10min)

Diltiazem/Cardizem
NCT AND AFib, AFlutter 0.25mg/kg SIVP, may repeat in 15min at 0.35mg/gh SIVP. If converts rhythm hang maintenace infusion
Vasopressin/Pitressin
40units IVP ONLY ONE TIME to replace 1st or 2nd dose of Epi
***ONLY GIVE TO A DEAD PT***
Calcium Chloride
Ca++ Channel blocker OD 1gram every 2-3min IVuntil clinical efffect is achieved***MAY GIVE TO REVERSE EFFECTS OF VERAPAMIL****
Sodium Bicarbonate
Hyperkalemia and selective OD 1mEq/kg IVP, may repeat
Digoxin/Digtalis
0.5-1mg SIVP, diuuted and given over 1-5min
Lasix/Furosemide
