No babbling or use of gestures by 12 months.
Lack of shared or joint attention during the first year.
No first words by 16 months.
Two-word combinations later than 30 months.
Children over 12 months reliant on gestures.
Limited phonetic (speech sound) repertoire.
Unusual speech sound errors.
Unintelligible speech after 3 yo

Intellectual impairment, specific language impairment, autism, central auditory processing disorder, sensory impairment (can't hear), social/emotional disturbances, sensory processing disorders
