RBC Concentration is reduced. Hemoglobin and Hematocrit are low.

Causes of Anemia
With all types of anemia, fatigue is common because:
Lack of oxygen perfusion
Tachacardia (cells sense they are not being oxygenated.), severe fatigue. Pale conjunctiva, slow capillary refill.
Symptoms of Acute Anemia
MCV
Mean Corpuscular Volume.
A protein found inside cells that stores iron so your body can use it later
Ferritin
Anemia that results from a lack of intrinsinc factor which results in an inability to absorb Vitamin B-12
Pernicious Anemia
Anemia characterized by the presence of abnormally large RBC.
