Diffuse Interstitial Lung Disease ‘AKA’ Diffuse Interstitial Pulmonary Fibrosis

• Inflammation and thickening of the alveolar interstitium
• Injury to the alveolar epithelial or capillary endothelial cells = infiltration by immune cells • Progressive dyspnea and nonproductive cough |
