I ain't got no people

Shows that George has no family. He is ultimately lonely without Lennie.

Small and quick, dark of face with restless eyes and sharp strong features

This show some intelligence and a very strong personality but some unhappiness as he has "restless eyes"

God a'mighty If I was alone I could live so easy

This sounds like a Prayer as he says "God Almighty" which could mean that he wants Lennie to leave and this "prayer" is answered at the end of the novella because Lennie does leave George when he is killed by George. It also shows that Lennie holds George back and he can't do things that normal men can.

We kinda look after each other

George staves off loneliness because he has Lennie, unlike the other men on the ranch he has someone that cares about him.

Guys like us that work on ranches Are the Loneliest guys in the world

This link to the Great Depression and loneliness was one of the consequences because people had to leave their family and friends to go travelling for work which means they were lonely.

I guess maybe way back in my head I did know

This shows that George really wanted to get the "little place" but he knew "way back in (his) head" that Lennie was the only hurdle which caused the dream to fall and shatter.

If that son of a bitch socks you let him have it

This shows how George is a father figure to Lennie as he knows that Lennie is very strong and can fight Curley and won't stand by watching Lennie get hurt and so tells him what to do if he gets into a fight with Curley.

Lennie for gods sake don't drink so much you should never drink when water isnt running

This shows that George is clean living and cares about Lennie's we'll being and again shows the fatherly figure side to himself.
