When the assembly wishes to do something that cannot be done without violation it's own rules and yet it is not in conflict with its constitution or by-laws, it can suspend the rules that interfere with the proposed action

The "table" is literally the speakers table, but to "lay on the table" or "to table" a motion means to delay action on it

The match used to light the candle for every prospective member meeting is given to an outstanding prospective member who displays the sacraments of Unity, Honesty, Integrity, and Leadership. Why and for who was the fraternity founded?

Originally hispanic founded, but never ment to exclude others to join.



Was founded to be a service fraternity that primarily focused on the Hispanic community, since there wasnt a specific organization in lubbock that specifically focused on this group.

Spring 1988 ,12 men

Where and when was the 2nd chapter founded?

Spring 1989, on tye campus of University of Texas El Paso.

When and where was its 1st national conference,and why

Fall 1991, on the campus of Texas Tech University to bring together the first 4 chapters and colony ( alpha,beta,gamma, delta and epsilon colony) to discuss the initial process of forming a national organization.

What does the flag look like

The badge of brotherhood shall be the coat of arms. The PM pin shall be a shield of scarlet ( representing the blood that runs through thebrotherhood) bearing a silver chevron( representing the light at the end of the tunnel). The prospective member pin shall be worn over the heart at all times.
