What is a Noun?

a person, place, thing, animal or idea.

How can you tell when a word is being used as a noun?

First, ask yourself whether the word is being used to describe a thing. It could be an abstract thing, such as an:
Emotion (love) Event (discussion) Quality (cleanliness) Action (removal) Result of an action (production). |
