(If WAI has been selected stick shaker and min manoeuvre speeds remain adjusted for rest of the flight)
With the WAI ON selected on the ground, when does the valve close?
WAI operates on the ground when selected on if thrust on both engines is below setting for teke-off warning activation. If thrust increases above this, the valve closes although the switch remains in the ON position. If thrust is reduced, valves open again.

(WAI switch trips to OFF at liftoff)
With window heat selected on, the green ON light illuminates. What indications are given for an overheat?
If overheat occurs the ON light will extinguish. The OVERHEAT light will illuminate amber.
Does the NG have rain repellent?
Rain repellent coating is applied to the windows.
