Aborting takeoff
PCL - FULL BETA
Wheelbrakes - AS REQUIRED
If going into unprepared terrain:
Canopy - EMERGENCY OPEN
Emergency engine shutdown - EXECUTE
When aircraft comes to rest:
Emergency exit - EXECUTE
Tire failure on takeoff roll
While still on runway:
Aborting takeoff - EXECUTE
If airborne:
Landing gear - REMAIN DOWN
Fuel control stuck at minimum flow (rollback)
Condition lever - FULL INCREASE RPM
EPL - ADVANCE TO DESIRED POWER SETTING
If resultant power available is insufficient to execute a PEL:
EPL - DISCONNECT
Engine failure - EXECUTE
If sufficient power is restored:
PCL - IDLE
PEL - EXECUTE
Compressor Stalls
PCL - SLOWLY RETARD TO JUST BELOW STALL THRESHOLD TO CLEAR STALL
Cockpit environmental control - FULL FORWARD
PCL - SLOWLY ADVANCE (as required)
If the resultant power available is insufficient to execute a PEL:
Engine failure - EXECUTE
If sufficient power is available:
PEL - EXECUTE
Abnormal Starts
Condition Lever - FUEL OFF
Ignition Switch - HOLD OFF (starter continue engaged)
Starter - OFF (after 20 seconds)
Ignition switch - RELEASE
Hard Landing
If on the runway:
Full Stop - EXECUTE
If airborne:

Flying Speed - Maintain (100 KIAS minimum)

If airstart is not attempted or is unsuccessful:

Cockpit environmental control/aft cockpit outside air - OFF
If fire persists:
Bailout - EXECUTE
If fire extinguishes:
Engine failure - EXECUTE
If no fire indications:
PEL - EXECUTE
Oil system malfunction / Chip detector caution light illuminated
PEL - EXECUTE (utilize a maximum of 850 ft-lb torque and avoid unnecessary PCL movements)
If engine failure/mechanical malfunction occurs:
Emergency engine shutdown - EXECUTE
Engine failure - EXECUTE
Split-flap condition
Reset flap lever to prior position
