Fire Resistive Construction (TYPE I)
Does not qualify as fire resistive construction as defined, yet the walls, partitions and structural materials are of a noncombustible or limited combustible material. In this type of construction, the
materials may not compile fuel to the fire; however, the unprotected structural members may be damaged by heat. The main
feature is its inability to spread fire.
Noncombustible / Limited-Combustible Construction (TYPE II)
Bearing walls and bearing portions of walls are noncombustible and have a minimum fire resistance rating of two hours, as well as stability under fire conditions. Nonbearing exterior walls must also be noncombustible. Columns, beams, and girders are commonly heavy timber with wood floor and roof construction without
concealed spaces.
Heavy Timber (Mill) Construction (TYPE III)
The type of construction in which exterior bearing walls or bearing portions of exterior walls are of noncombustible or limited
combustible material sand have minimum hourly fire resistance ratings and stability under fire conditions; nonbearing exterior
walls are of noncombustible or limited combustible materials. Roofs, floors, and interior framing are wholly or partially of wood
of smaller dimensions required for heavy timber construction.
Ordinary Construction (TYPE IV)
Type of construction in which exterior walls, bearing walls and partitions, floors, roofs and their supports are wholly or partially of wood or other combustible material, when construction does not qualify as heavy timber or ordinary construction.
Wood Frame Construction (TYPE V)
List some of the required information the Company Officer is responsible for entering into FRMS each tour.
It is the duty of the Company Officer or Acting Company Officer to
complete all required information in FRMS for each tour of duty. This
includes, but is not limited to: Daily Roster, Daybook, Company Training,
Hydrant Inspections and completion of any incidents their company makes
during a tour.
When should the Company Officer log into FRMS?
The Company Officer or Acting Company Officer must log into FRMS at the beginning of each tour of duty.

include the heart, the lungs, the brain and the circulating blood. The
complete removal of any of these is reason to forgo resuscitation
attempts.
When a patient is refusing treatment or transport the following procedures shall be followed:
- Make sure your patient is competent to make this decision.
- Gather as much information on the patient as possible.
- Advise the patient of possible risks associated with refusing treatment or transport including paralysis and death.
- Contact Medical Control (6280, MCLNO or TMC) and give them a patient report and request an AMA (Against Medical Advice).
