Sensory Nerve Fiber Classification
Proprioreception
1. Ia: large diam, fast conduct velocity, fxn: muscle spindle (heavy myelin)
2. Ib: large diam, fast conduct velocity, fxn: golgi tendon organ (heavy myelin)
3. II: medium diam, med. veloc, secondary muscle spindle

Superificial Touch
1. A-beta: med diam, med. vel fxn: prim cutaneous receptor
2. A-delta: small diam & slower conduc. vel fxn: cutaneous mechanorecept (light myelin / pain)

3. C fibers: very small diam,very slow, unmyelinated fxn: cutaneous & joint afferent (pain)

S5: lowest dermatome, peri-anal region, if intact then there still SC fxn in body
