What is a self-assessment report and when is it submitted.
Activities scheduled for a TYCOM AMI shall, within 2 weeks of in brief, submit to the AMMT a
self-assessment report which identifies current program/process deficiencies and planned corrective actions,
with timeline. A copy of this report , without enclosures, shall be provided to the Type Wing/MAW.
Are AMIs graded?
The AMMT will not assign an overall grade at the conclusion of the AMI. However, if an issue
arises during the inspection that warrants immediate TYCOM notification and intervention, the activity being
inspected will be provided immediate instructions on actions to be completed prior to resuming normal
operation.
