- Do not take with other CNS depressants, may lead to resp. dep. - Kava kava, valerian root: increase sedation effects - Sympathomimetics lower effects (caffeine, tobacco) - Possible teratogenic effects |

- long term leads to tolerance buildup - Do not stop abruptly - W/D: agitation, insomnia, tremors, muscular cramps, sweating |
