What is ATP?
ATP is a chemical compound responsible for producinng energy for work. When energy is broken down, energy is released.
What are the three energy sytems?

Trapezius
Large triangular muscle located on the posterior aspect of the body.
Lattissimus dorsi
The broadest muscle of the back. It forms the back of the armpit
Rectus abdominus
A group of two muscles running lengthwise along the medial aspect of the abdomen.
Deltoid
A triangular shaped muscle located muscle located on the superior aspect of the shoulder ie above the shoulder joint.
Pectoralis major
A large triangular muscle located on the chest.
Biceps brachii
A two headed muscle located on the anterior aspect of the humerus.
Triceps
A large muscle located on the posterior aspect of the upper arm. It covers the whole of the back of the humerus.
Gluteus maximus
This is the large fleshy muscle that makes up your backside. You are probably sitting on it now!!
Quadriceps
This is a group of 4 muscles located on the anterior aspect of the thigh.
Hamstrings
This is a group of three muscles located on the posterior aspect of the thigh.
Gastrocnemius
This is the large fleshy muscle located on the posterior aspect of the lower leg
Tibalis anterior
This muscle is located on the anterior aspect of the lower leg.
