Mr. Jones left his dog unattended, while he was preoccupied hosting a party. Not only did he not make sure the rope he tied Bosco to the tree with was securely fastened, but he also claims it is not his fault that the dog bit Mrs. Smith. It is most definitely his fault, he knew his dog was more hyper than most. Mr. Jones even said to Mrs. Smith at a previous time that he should not be held accountable for his dog’s late night barking. Did he ever think to send Bosco to obedience school? Bosco needs to be trained, if he is going to continue living and be a part of the community. A wild dog, that knows no limits, should not have the right to infringe on the well-being and rights of others. Mr. Jones did not take the necessary precautions with his dog, Bosco. Irresponsibility and haste should not be rewarded! His recklessness was at the price of Mrs. Smiths’ safety and security. Mr. Jones must pay for his negligence and his dog may not be a threat to society.
