Heterogeneous Mixture

A mixture of 2 or more substances in which the original substances retain their chemical properties

Homogeneous Mixture

A mixture that is evenly mixed

Saturated solution

A solution that has dissolved as much material as possible. You cannot dissolve any more of a substance in this solution

Supersaturated Solution

A solution holding more material than it can possibly dissolve
