Activate the amalgam capsule with the activator
|

Place the capsule into the triturator, close the lid, check for the appropriate settings, and begin trituration.

|
Remove teh capsule from the triturator, open the capsule, and spill the amalgam into the amalgam well.

|
Fill the amalgam carrier by pressing the end of the carrier into the soft amalgam so as to pack the carrier to the top with amalgam (the dentist may request the small end or the large end of the carrier first)

Procedure Step #5
|
Transfer the carrier to the dentist with the filled end on the carrier toward the preparation to be filled.

|
Procedure Step #6
|
Continue the handoff of the amalgam carrier to and from the assistant to the dentist until the preparation is overfilled.
