What is the 1st biosafety level?
BSL-1: Do not typically cause diseases in healthy people. There is minimal threat to lab and environment. No special containment equipment required
What is the 2nd biosafety level?
Commonly encountered in the community. Present moderate environmental/health hazards. Associated with human diseases of varying severity. Class I or II BSC. Injury, ingestion, etc.
