Class: Beta-adrenergic antagonist; antihypertensive; antianginal
Actions: Beta-adrenergic antagonist with preferential effect on beta receptors located primarily on cardiac muscle.
Uses: Management of mild to severe hypertension (monotherapy or vasodilator or both)
Contraindications: Cardiogenic shock, sinus bradycardia, heart block greater than first degree, overt cardiac failure
