Deff: Describes children who display a repetitive and persistent pattern of aggressive and anti-social acts that involve inflicting pain on others or interfering with the rights of others through verbal and physical aggression, stealing or vandalism.

- Youth with CD score about 8 points lower on an IQ test


- It is common for a child w/ CD to have comprehension problems and expression problems


-They underachieve in school, low self-esteem but you will rarely see it ( Gangster )


- They will have pre and few peer relationships( social rejection in elementary school is a strong risk factor for adolescent conduct disorder, they will engage in risky behaviors)
