Theological anthropology
looking at the human person from a theological standpoint; looking at humans in relation to theology
o Humans are so entrenched in sin; Luther doesn’t have faith in human reason; need revelation, that is the only source of truth
Hierarchy
Catholics will say that the hierarchy is present in the scripture; Luther thinks this is an incorrect interpretation
o Radical egalitarianism: everyone part of spiritual priesthood; Luther’s view (no hierarchy)
