Bhagwān ke Bhagwānnā bhakta te āgal koi prakāre mān rākhvu nahi; kem je, mān chhe te to krodh, matsar, irshyā ne droh eno ādhār chhe ane māni hoy teni bhakti pan āsuri kahevāy.

Mān-apamānmā potāne Akshar mānvu je, ‘Āpnāthi koi moto nathi, māte keni pāse mān-apamān mānvu?’

When somebody praises or insults us, believe oneself to be Akshar; that is, ‘Nobody is greater than me. So, from whom should we expect praises and insults?’

In Vadtāl, Shri Hari said, ‘Even if one develops an intense level of detachment, yog, righteousness, devotion, and faith in the form of Bhagwān, if he has ego then all of his virtues are destroyed. All faults lie within ego.’
