Switch to Start. - Seal Water d/p >30 psid. - Discharge MOV full Shut. - Suction Pressure >184#. - Oil Pressure >10#. - No protective relay trips in. - Mini-recirc valve full Open. |
What Trips the MFP's?
Switch to Stop. - Suction Pressure <135# for 2 minutes. - Oil Pressure <9# for 1.5 seconds. - Safety Injection. - Electrical (undervoltage, overcurrent, ground, bus differential). |
What are the normal and alternate lube oil pumps for the MFP's?
The Attached Lube Oil Pump is the normal lube oil supply at power. - The AC Lube Oil Pump is used for start up and shut down, and starts automatically on low lube oil pressure. |
What starts the AC lube oil pump on the MFP? - How is it stopped? |
Starts at 9# and lowering. - With the switch in Auto & LO pressure >18#, taking the switch to TEST stops the pump. |
How do the mini-recirc valves react when starting the MFP's?
Operator places the switch in AUTO. - Mini-recircs go full open. - Operator places switch in START. - Mini-recircs then modulate to maintain 4000 gpm. |
What normally supplies Seal Water to the MFP's?
Condensate Pumps. |
What auto starts the MFP Seal Water Pumps? |
Seal Supply <235# starts both pumps. - Seal Water Temp >185F starts both pumps. |
