al-Wahab. Reactionary movement to Sufism, saw excessive amts. Salaf are the ancestors, salafiya is the ideology. Diff sufi orders. Advocated people should go back to Islam as ancestors practice. Tariqa: way to G-d. Qur'an is word of G-d. No intercessor b/n G-d and the believer.
