control- special clothing, inspect animals and humans for ticks

sxs- small pink spots on wrists and ankles,possibly sever onset of sxs, loss of apetite, headache, tender muscles, nause and vomitting

trans- hares or rabbits, bites, eating undercooked rabbit
sxs- depends on mode, tissues and lymph glands infected, formation of ulcer, ingested- sore throat, intestinal pain
tx- antibiotics, streptomycin
control- gloves when skinning wild animals
