organelle
oganelles are tiny cell structures that carry out specific functions within the cell.
cell wall
is a rigid layer of nonliving material that surrounds the cell and help to protect and support the cell.
cell membrane
forms the outside boundary of a cell and controls what substances come into and out of a cell.
nucleus
the brain of the cell, contains chromatin and nucleolus.
nuclear envelope
it is the surrounding of the nucleus. it protects the nucleus too.
chromatin
they are strands that contain genetic material.
nucleolus
this is a structure, a nucleolus is where ribosomes are made.
cytoplasm
is the fluid in the cytoplasm that is constantly moving around.
mitrochondria
Are rod-shaped structures that loom around. They are known as the "powerhorse" of the cell because they convert energy in food molecules.
endoplasmic reticulum
edoplasmic reticulum's passageways carry proteins and other material from one part of the cell to another.
ribosome
they are little cells that are attached to some surface of the endoplasmic reticulum are small, grainlike bodies.
golgi bodies
can be thought of the cells's mail room.
chloroplasts
those are cells in plants that have some orgasims.
vacuole
these are water-filled sac's, floating in the cytoplasm.
lysosomes
they are small, round structures containing chemicals that break down certain materials in the cell.
specialized cell
specialized cells are cells that are very much needed.
tissue
are parts of,for ex a brain. It is the thin part that protects the brain of getting damaged.
organ
is a part of your body.
organ system
is a group of organs that work together to perform a major function.
bacterial cells
bacterial cells are usally much smaler than plants or animal cells. for ex, a human skinn cell is about ten times as large as a normal baqcterial cell.
