A study of the human person's natural process of thinking.
Complex Definition of Logic
The science and the art which can help human beings to become more perfectly clear, correct, critical and consistent in their natural process of thinking at three levels; simply apprehending, judging and reasoning.
Science
The intellectual activity of discovering the natural pattern of human thinking.
Art
The intellectual activity of making new patterns to facilitate the natural pattern of thinking.
Simply Apprehending
The intellectual activity of attaining the essence of something without affirming or denying anything about it.
Judging
The intellectual activity of affirming or denying one idea of another idea.
Reasoning
The intellectual activity of concluding to a knowledge of some new truth from truths already known.
Formal Logic
Reasoning which follows exact rules.
Informal Logic
Reasoning which does not follow exact rules
Material Logic
Concerned with the truth and the falsity of the premises of an argument
Material Logic

Inductive Logic
