Adverse Effects
Toxicity - systemic, direct neurotoxic in high concentrations
CNS tox - sleepiness, light-headedness, visual/auditory disturbances, restlessness, circumoral and tongue numbness, metallic taste, nystagmus, muscular twitching, tonic-clinic convulsions, seizures
-- large doses - give benzodiazepines as prophylaxis
