Romans and Jews have growing tension because Romans inhabitated their land. Rosh and Jesus, too. Jesus teaches love. Rosh teaches hate

Daniel's parents were crucified by the romans because when they tried to save another Jew (His uncle) they were caught and put to death. Daniel has vowed to kill the Romans ever since.
