What is literature?

What types of symbols are there?
There are conventional and natural symbols. Conventional symbols are symbols that are arbitrarily invented by a group of people. Natural symbols are symbols that visually resemble the object that is being represented.
What is anagnorisis?
It is the coming of knowledge to the protagonist.
What is peripeteia?
It is the reversal of fortune.
