Barkskin

Range: Touch


Effect: Barkskin toughens a creature's skin. Provides a +2 enhancement bonus to natural armor. Stacks with natural armor bonus, but not with other enhancements to natural armor bonus.

Flaming Sphere

Range: Medium (100 ft + 10 ft / level)


Duration: 1 round / level (currently 3 rounds)


Effect: A ball of fire 5 feet in diameter appears and starts rolling, 30 ft / found, in a direction you choose (move action to direct). If it hits a creature, it stops and deals 3d6 fire damage. Reflex (currently DC 15) negates.

Hold Animal

Target: One animal


Effect: Subject becomes paralyzed. Will save (currently DC 15) negates. Winged creates cannot fly and fall. Swimmers can't swim. Subject gets another save each round as a full-round action.

Owl's Wisdom

Range: Touch


Duration: 1 minute / level


Effect: Subject gains +4 WIS. The DC of casters whose DC is based on WIS increases accordingly.

Take -2 on all attack rolls, weapon damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.

Lesser Restoration

Duration: Instantaneous


Range: Touch


Effect: Dispels magical effects reducing an ability score, or restores 1d4 points of temporary ability damage. Eliminates fatigue; upgrades exhausted to fatigued. Does not work on a permanent ability drain.

Summon Swarm

Components: V, S, DF (a square of red cloth)


Casting Time: 1 round


Range: Close (25 ft + 5 feet / 2 levels)


Duration: Concentration (1 standard action) + 2 rounds


Effect: A swarm of bats, rats, or spiders is summoned and attacks the nearest creature. The caster has no control over the swarm's direction or its target, but you can place it on another creature's square.
