I love my bike
with it I don't have to take a hike
I go to a lot of places
and see a lot of faces
When I ride my bike.
To go to school
or to the pool
I take my bike.
I do jumps and turns
and spins and flips
on my awesome bike.
I'm as happy as can be
When I take out my keys
to unlock my bike lock.
When I ride
I'm filled with pride
to be riding a bike as grand as mine.
Its beautiful color and sleek frame
cause people shame
who do not own a bike such as mine.
Everyday
I feel proud to say
that I am riding my bike.
Because without it
I can't do poop
But walk like everybody else.

Talking to myself there
Someone had overheard.
I was lost for a word.
There was nothing to share.
Embarrassed I was there.
Left awkward and absurd .
A broken wingless bird.
With nowhere to fly there.
Caught red faced there was I.
Didn't want to be seen.
I just wanted to die.
I just wanted to scream.
I'm so terribly shy.
Lost for words it would seem.
