The First Branch of Pulaski, Tennessee wanted to stop black peple from voting in May 1866

Also in April 1871 the Ku Klux Act gave the president the power to step in and help troubled states the authority to suspened
Habeas corpus-a write quiring a person to be brought before a jugde or court especally for investigation of a restraint of the person's liberty, used as a protectm against illegal impisonment

The Klu Klux Klan reform happened in 1951.
