Trapezius
A: Upper Fibers: Bilaterally - extend the head and neck
Unilaterally: laterally flex the head and neck to the same side, rotate the head and neck to the opposite side, elevate the scapula, upwardly rotate the scapula
Middle Fibers: adduct and stabilize the scapula
Lower Fibers: Depress and upwardly rotate the scapula

O: Exteneral occipital protuberance, medial portion of superior nuchal line of the occiput, ligamentum nuchae, and spinous process of C-7 through T-12

I: Lateral 1/3 of clavicle, acromion, and spine of the scapula
Rhomboid Major and Minor
A: Adduct, elevate, and downwardly rotate the scapula.

O: Major - spinous processes of T-2 to T-5
Minor - Spinous processes of C-7 and T-1

I: Major - Medial border of scapula between the spine of the scapula and inferior angle
Minor - Upper portion of medial border of the scapula, across from spine of scapula
Infraspinatus
A: Laterally rotate the shoulder, adduct the shoulder, extend the shoulder, horizontally abduct the shoulder, stabilize head of humerus in glenoid cavity.

Origin: Infraspinous fossa of the scapula

Insertion: Greater tubercle of the humerus
Teres Minor
A: Laterally rotate the shoulder, adduct the shoulder, extend the shoulder, horizontally abduct the shoulder, stabilize head of humerus in gleniod cavity

O: Superior half of lateral border of the scapula

I: Greater tubercle of the humerus
Teres Major
A: Extend the shoulder, adduct the shoulder, medially rotate the shoulder

O: Lateral side of inteferior angle and lower half of lateral border of the scapula

I: Crest of the lesser tubercle of the humerus
Latissimus Dorsi
A: Extend the shoulder, adduct the shoulder, medially rotate the shoulder

O: Spinous process of last 6 thoracic vertebrae, last 3 or 4 ribs, thoracolumbar aponeurosis and posterior iliac crest

I: Crest of the lesser tubercle of the humerus
Deltoid
A: All fibers - Abduct the shoulder
Anterior fibers - Flex the shoulder, medially rotate the shoulder, horizontally adduct the shoulder
