Why do I want to go to Australia and Indonesia?

- its a great opportunity, I don't want to let slip through my hands.

- its probably going to be the only chance I get to go anywhere outside the UK.

- I can never see myself having the opportunity to go to Australia etc. (Family situation)

-I have read the letters written by young people who have gone on JoLt. I loved the fact that some people said that it makes you a "more interesting, knowledgeable, confident and unique character."

Others said "it was the highlight of their lives" and "made my dreams a reality".

- I think JoLt would help me to appreciate my life in Northern Ireland a lot more than what I already do.

- I think i would develop my independence and it would help me to make new friends.

How could I help others on the journey?

- generally I am a helpful person and I care an awful lot about people, so I think I could just be me and help in anyway I can.

- I can just let people know that I am there for them if they need to talk and that I will always try to help them.

-its in my nature to look out for people and to help others as much as I can, no matter what I am going through myself.

How do I plan to raise £650

- none uniform days in school or a sponsored walk.

- coffee morning.

- ballet draws at Easter.

- hold a pamper night at church.
