complete protein foods:
- Contain all the nine essential amino acids in the correct proportions and are mainly from animal food sources.
incomplete protein foods:
- foods from plant sources that are missing or lacking the requirement amount of one or more of the essential amino acid. they cannot be used by themself to support life.
Complementary protein food combination
protein foods that are individually lacking in essential amino acids but when combines, provide a complete supply. they are important for vegetaritariens and allow them to recieve all essential amino acids.
