List the 7 steps of the scientific method.

1.Recognize the problem

2.research

3.hypothesis

4.experiment

5.analyse data

6.conclusion

7.repeat the experiment(if it is needed)

Describe the difference between an observation and inference.make as many observations as you can for any 2 objects on blue trays around the classroom.

An observation is describing an object using our 5 senses object#1:Blue,white,magnetic,hard,rectangular-pair of magnetsobject#2:grey,has different shapes, windy thingy-An elephant windy toy.inference:A conclusion about our observations
What is a hypothesis? Make a hypothesis about when we will see peak fall foliage in the Lehigh Valley.
A Hypothesis is an educated guess.Peak leaf color will occur mid October, end October.
Design a hypothesis for the following problem:Marco Polo is not doing so well in science. He is struggling and there are 3 weeks left in the marking period.what can Marco do to increase his science grade
He could study more.

A:Hypothesis is an educated guess.

1.If Asks his classmates then maybe he will understand better.

2.If marco asks the teacher for extra work then maybe his grade will go up.

How will a cookie successfully travel from your forehead to your mouth in under one minute.

3 strategies1.Tilt your head.2.Move eyebrows to get cookie moving.3.Move face muscles.
Design 2 hypothesis-how can we get grass to grow again in the dead, brown spots in mr.ostes backyard.
1.Bye stuff to put on it.2.water it.
Develop 2 strategies and a hypothesis in successfully completing the ball cap minute to win it challenge.
If you place the ball slightly 0n the edge and Be steady. It will be a successful challenge.

Pick a minute to win it challenge you participated in and describe in as much detail as you can what happened during that one minute.Explain how you adjusted your strategy or not

I enjoyed the mega bubble challenge. We searched up the timer and then they hit the timer and i tried to blow the bubble just right .I did not complete the challenge.we had to crawl on the ground a little.I figured out that a bigger bubble does not pop as easily as the little bubbles.Hypothesis: You have to blow it just right and move your head wherever the bubble goes to get it right .

What is the difference between a CONTROL and a VARIABLE in an experiment? Use the sticky situation minute to win it experiment to explain the difference.

Control:A condition that stays the same in an experiment.EX:same amount of ping pong balls.EX:same distance between the bread.EX:Same distance between the

bread

EX: same amount of fluff

EX:same size bread

Variable:A condition that changes in an experiment.EX:different people

EX:One group was blindfolded the other was not.Variables:variables are conditions that change.
