|
A right of the insurer to recover damages from another if the insurer has paid those damages for a covered loss.

Supplementary Payments
|
Payments made by the insurer in addition to the limit of insurance.

Temporary Substitute Auto
|
An auto not owned by the named insured while used as a temporary substitute for a covered auto owned by the named insured that is out of service.

Temporary Transportation Expenses
|
Expenses incurred by the insured to rent or borrow a car because the covered auto has been stolen.

Temporary Worker
|
A worker furnished to the named insured for a finite time period to supplement the regular workforce under special work situations.

Some of the insured’s duties in the event of an Auto loss include:
|
• giving the insurer prompt notice of the accident or loss,
• immediately sending copies of notices or legal papers to the insurer, • cooperating with the investigation of the claim and defense against the suit, • assuming no obligations and making no payments without the insurer's consent, • promptly notifying the police if the covered auto is stolen, • taking all reasonable steps to protect the covered auto from further damage, and • permitting the insurer to inspect the covered auto proving the loss before its repair. |
