G-CSF
Secreted by monocytes and fibroblasts to generally stimulate bone marrow to produce more neutrophils via granulocytes and precursor cells
TGFb
Produced by CD4 T cells and monocytes to inhibit macrophage activation via T cells and generally inhibit cell growth. Also TGFb stimulates Treg and Th17 differentiation.
TNFa
Secreted by macrophages, NK cells, and T cells to cause local inflammation, endothelial cell activation and part of the acute phase response
IL 23
Secreted by Th17 with IL17 to play a role in mucosal, skin, and parasite immunity. Also key player in autoimmunity and tissue destruction. Can activate granulocytes which can be hepatotoxic.
