DTP ( diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis)
2,4,6 and 18 months, school entry.
Td (tetanus, diphtheria)
Children over 7; adults; booster every 10 years.
IPV (Trivalent inactivated poliovirus vaccine)
All children, 2 and 4 months, 6-18 months and 4-6 years old, immunocompromised children.
MMR ( measles, mumps, rubella)
12-15 months, booster at school entry, not to pregnant women but may be administered to a child if mother is pregnant.
HiB ( Haemophilus influenzae type B)
2,4,6 months. booster at 15 months.
HBV ( hepatitis B vaccine)
Birth, 1 month, 6 months.
Health care workers, prostitutes, others with multiple sex partners, Injection drug users
Varicella Vaccine
One dose at 12-18 months for young children

or
one dose from 19 months to 12 years

or
two doses, 4-8 weeks apart for persons 13 years and older.
Influenza vaccine
Annually and for those with debilitating illness.
Now recomended for children 6 months and older with risk factors including but not limited to: asthma, cardiac disease; and households with individuals at risk.
May be given to children 6-23 months because this age group is at particular risk
administer in 2 seperate doses, 2 weeks apart in first time recipients younger than 8 years old.
Pneumococcal Vaccine (PVC)
Recommended for all children 2-23 months, given at 2,4 and 6 months with a 4th dose at 12 months. Also for children 24-59 months with conditions such as cardiac disease, pulmonary disease ( excluding asthma), immunodeficiency, diabetes, renal failure, leukmia, and malginancies.
Also recommended for children 24-59 months who attend day care.
Pneumonia Vaccine
Persons over 65 and those with debilitating illness.
