- By granting amnesties, Congress has set a dangerous precedent that threatens homeland Security -Our normal immigration process involves screening to block potential criminals and terrorists from entering the United States -Yet millions of illegal aliens have avoided this Screening and an amnesty would allow them to permanently bypass such screening - Now you may say there are some who have done nothing wrong, but we must not ignore the other half of illegal immigrants |

- If this were to occur, then policies that would give illegal immigrants permanent residence through Amnesty, as well as policies which would permit a continuing influx of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants each year - this would increase crime in the long term |

-Overtime, if there were no illegal immigrants willing to work for less pay then the owners would be desperate to hire employees
- and to do this they would have to meet the demands of the American people which are higher wages - now Americans are unwilling to work for third world wages but they will work for higher wages -history repeats its self, back in the 1900's for many unions the fight was for higher wages and then they would work in factories so Americans today would also be willing to work in agricultural units if the prices rose |

-Small business will really be hurt because of the unfair consideration given to guest workers. It will guarantee them work at a "prevailing wage," while the same protections are not awarded to tax paying citizens
- This is directly discriminatory to our own legal citizens/ think about it most of us are middle class, and our parents are involved in businesses they would also be hurt to a very high extent |

-after IRCA 1986 was enacted, and illegals were often accompanied by one or more “amnesty card” holders --these holders were either smuggling for profit or bringing in family members and friends |

POLITICAL AMNESTY WAY TO RESTORE LAW &ORDER

-There will be talks about tough enforcement that the border is “secure”, but as soon as the politicians and special interest groups get the amnesty they will scream about the enforcement being too tough
- The amnesty program of the late 1980′s promised tough enforcement, work site inspections and employer sanctions. Those enforcement measures didn't last long -amnesty will lead to less security and minimal enforcement because illegal immigrants would have a voice -not way to restore order, more chaos/ security issue Agents will be told to stay away from amnesty processing centers. If illegal aliens are detained and make a verbal claim to amnesty, they will be released |

- Republicans are NOT going to get more votes in the future just because they go along with a Democrat-driven amnesty plan. It makes you wonder if they have any common sense at all
-Ronald Reagan was a Republican icon. He signed IRCA 1986 into law, he is not seen as a champion of illegal aliens because even today the issue exists |

ECONOMIC HELP FUND THE SYSTEMS

- sweeping over 20 million more uneducated or undereducated, and quite poor people and their families into this country into some "guestworker" bill is foolish
-We would be instantly importing a new wave of poverty into this country. The fact is that many of these people may assimilate, but many would not -Even those who do, will not be assimilated for many years, even decades -They will continue to be at the lowest end of wage earners and contribute the very least to the social security and medicare system through their payroll witholding checks |
