Separation
|
Initiate leaves one's society for a certain period of time in order to transfer to the new stage of life.

Liminality

something in between the two stages/phases of life, usually in between adult and child

Aggregation
|
Coming back from liminality. It's when the initiate comes back to the society and adapts the society as an adult.

Coming-of-Age
|
It's a young person's transition from adolescence to adulthood, usually taken by a ritual ceremony in society to celebrate this event.

Rites of Passage
|
Come to be a combination of legal sanctions granted by society, events acknowledged by a particular culture, rituals accepted by one's peers as meaningful.
