Scientific Method
The scientific method is a way scientists perform experiments. It is still used today.
Galileo Galilei
Galilei was a famous scientist and astronomer. He built his own telescope and viewed many new things for the first time in history, such as, the mountains of the moon, the moons of Jupiter, and sunspots. He also supported the idea of a heliocentric universe instead of a geocentric one. He was threatened with death by the church if he didn't take back his ideas.
Isaac Newton
Sir Isaac Newton was an English scientist who discovered the force which keeps the planets in orbit around the sun. He then published a book about his findings and created something called natural laws.
Natural Laws
Natural Laws are law stated by Isaac Newton that say how things in nature move.
Nicholas Copernicus
Copernicus was a Polish scholar who proposed the idea of the heliocentric universe instead of the church's geocentric univere.
