-The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was a project by the Americans to create and put into use two atomic bombs (‘Little Boy’ and ‘Fat Man’) which destroyed two Japanese cities and as a result, Japan were forced to surrender in the war

-Whether it was justified or necessary to win the war and that the bombings saved millions of lives by preventing the need for an invasion of the Japanese Home Islands
