KU KLUX KLAN was devoted 100% Americanism. The Klan also believed in keeping blacks in "their places". By 1924 the KKK reached a population of 4.5million.

What was the American – Filipino War?
In February 1899, the Filipinos led by Aguinaldo, rose in revolt. The United States assumed almost the same role that spain had played, imposing its authority on a colony that was fighting for freedom. After nearly 3 years of fighting, about 20,000 Filipino rebels died. Claimed 4,000 American lives. Cost $400 million.
What was the Boxer Rebellion?
The most famous of China's secret socities; The Boxers. The boxers killed hundreds of missionaries and other foreigners. August 1900, troops from Britian, France, Germany, and Japan joined about 2,500 American Soldiers and marched on the Chinese capital.

•The United States could buy or lease land on the Island for naval stations and refueling stations.
What were the Long Term causes of WWI?
Europe had hugh war debts. Germany had to pay war reparations-payments to compensate the Allies for the damages Germany has caused. The depression compounded these problems by limiting Americas ability to Import Goods.
