Histology
Is the study of human tissues
Epithelial tissue
Lines the body surface both inner and outer, forms the ducts and glands
Connective tissue
Helps protect and support the body and its organs, stores energy, help transport gases and provides immunity
Nervous tissue
Acts as the communication cable of the body, allowing coordination of bodily functions
