St. Dominigue
the principle producer of tropical commodities in world, supplying both sugar and coffee. Is demolished by the 1791 Haitian Revolution, grants Cuba enormous opportunities in terms of sugar and coffee production and makes Haiti a free nation.
Camp Columbia
just outside of Havana, place where the army presented a series of demands to commanding officers who refused to receive the petition.
Cuban Escambray Mountains
where the DRE fled to and established a small guerilla base after an unsuccessful attack on Batista’s Presidential Palace.
