-Excess dosage or prolonged use can cause excess sweat and damage Zhen Qi, yin and body fluids and weaken the body
-Can raise bld pressure, restlessness and tremors
-When used with digitalis can cause arythmia
-Use carefully on xu constitutions
-Not for tx xu asthma
-Don’t use with insomnia, high BP, excess sweating, palpitations
